About the training program.
Empowering Women Through Digital Skills
In partnership with Descasio, House of Heroz (HOH) and TechUnlock Academy are offering a fully-sponsored, in-person 6-week Data Analysis training for 25 women passionate about building a tech career. This program equips you with practical, job-ready skills and provides an opportunity for internship placements for top-performing participants.
Requirements and eligibility.
– Basic knowledge of computer word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, search engines, and web navigation.
– Minimum of Secondary/High school Diploma or equivalent (2 years post secondary).
– Familiarity with concepts like averages, percentages, and ratios.
– Basic understanding of sums, and arithmetic.
– A computer to practice training modules and exercises.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and communication tools.
Added advantages:
– Familiarity with at least 1 programming language (Java and Python)
– Basic knowledge of programming concepts like variables, loops, and conditional statements.
